Can a wine lover be limited to just one wine region of a country? Surely not. A thought that compelled me to chart a course in France from Champagne to Bordeaux, Rhône Valley,Beaujolais and finally to Paris.

The first ever tasting of Bordeaux Grands Crus wines from member estates of Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux (UGCB) held in New Delhi was a wine lover’s dream come true.

My maiden wine tasting on Jour de Bastille for my French language institute saw Taittinger Champagne, Corbière red wine, French baguette and a number of enthusiastic souls saying “ah oui!”
