Wine and Spirits is not just my passion, it is my raison d'être, the pull of which compelled me to give up my Army career of 23 years to pursue it full time. A fun bar takeover by ace mixologists Santosh Kukreti and Sanjeet Yadav showcasing some ingenious cocktails made using a beverage selection from Bottle Bridge Beverages, that included a Mezcal Artesanal too!
Among the creative libations, my favourite turned out to be “Say Cheese”-
made with Bourbon, Parmesan Cheese, Spicy Pineapple, Lemon and Vegan Foamer- a savoury delight that had guests asking for more.
A perfect start to the festive season 🍸

An insightful visit to the Indian Malt Whisky Association (IMWA) and a stimulating meeting with its Director General Maj Gen (Dr.) Rajesh Chopra, AVSM(Retd)- also my senior from the Indian Army 🫡 🇮🇳
Great to see IMWA’s efforts in defining standards for Indian malt whisky, strengthening credibility and helping Indian whisky reach a wider global audience. 🌍
As Indian whisky makes its mark internationally, such initiatives will be key to building recognition and trust.

My recent tasting of Gamber Valley Whisky at Spiritz Achievers Awards was another reminder of the exciting possibilities emerging from India’s whisky scene.
