Building upon the success of its previous editions, ProWine Mumbai 2024 delivered yet another engaging edition that brought together 170 exhibitors and featured over 1,000 brands from 18 countries. Co-organised by Messe Düsseldorf India and All Things Nice, ProWine Mumbai 2024 took place on the 8th and 9th of November, at Pavilion 3 and 2 of the world-class Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

With 10 vibrant country pavilions, ProWine Mumbai 2024 saw large-scale representation from Australia, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. From boutique wineries to major international players, the event catered to a diverse audience of 5,947 attendees, including importers, distributors, sommeliers, restaurateurs, and avid consumers. The grand inauguration set a celebratory tone with Casa Bottega Prosecco, while the thoughtfully designed exhibition spaces facilitated seamless networking and brand exposure.
Engaging Experiences
The heart of the event lay in its dynamic engagements. The schedule was brimming with 11 masterclasses and insightful panel discussions. Industry experts, dressed in traditional attire for added flair, shared stories and insights that enriched attendees’ understanding of emerging trends and market dynamics. Packed sessions like “Creating a World Class Bar Program” and “The Realities & Opportunities of Importing Wine & Spirits in India” captivated audiences with thought-provoking conversations.

The ProWine Bartenders’ Competition was a show-stopping highlight. After rigorous challenges, including creative storytelling and crafting unique cocktails, Nikhil Kamble from Nho Saigon, Mumbai, emerged as the winner.
Nikhil’s innovative concoctions earned him a prestigious certification, a cash prize, and an all-expense-paid guest shift at an international bar, offering unparalleled recognition and career advancement. Yashwanth Mukkati from Jamming Goat 3.0 in Bangalore also received the People’s Choice award for his engaging online cocktail presentation.
A Glamorous Awards Night
ProWine Mumbai Night epitomized the spirit of celebration and camaraderie, as it recognized excellence within the industry. The “Honoring Excellence” awards provided a rare platform to celebrate the individuals driving the industry forward. Winners from the ProWine & ProSpirits Challenge were featured prominently, with guests enjoying winning labels at a dedicated ‘Winning Wines & Spirits Bar.’ The evening’s grandeur was amplified by fine dining, exceptional wines, and spirited networking.
